PO's Today
The PO's Today tab will display the list of purchase order records which have a scheduled delivery date set to 'Todays' date.
The tab contains 3 dashlets which give an overview of the PO's scheduled for delivery today.
Grid: Searching, Filtering, Sorting, & Colour Coding
- Use the search bar to filter the PO's or search for a specific PO number, supplier, buyer, etc.
- Columns can be sorted and filtered by clicking on the arrow to the right of the column heading. The sort & filtering options will appear.
- Use the arrows to move through the pages of PO records.
- By default when the grid loads 10 PO records are displayed. However, if you click 'Show 10 entries' you can change how much is displayed in the grid. Choose from 20, 30, or 40.
- Click View to access the PO.
- The Status column may show colour coding if the Purchase Order Status model was setup with colour coding for each status.
Actions
The Actions drop-down allows you to work on updating PO records without directly entering the PO. It also allows you to make updates to multiple PO's at one time.
1. Click the row of the PO to mark it (tick the box).
2. Click the Actions drop-down and choose the action you would like to complete for the PO(s) highlighted e.g., perhaps the delivery has arrived and you want to receive it in, you can click Receive Delivery.
Assign Receiver
The Assign Receiver option in the Actions drop-down allows you to choose the employee who will receive the delivery in.
Assign Inspector
The Assign Inspector option in the Actions drop-down allows you to assign or update an inspector for the item inspection records in the PO. Inspectors assigned to inspection records will be able to see these in their My Actions Today tab when the PO they are on to has a scheduled delivery date of 'today'.
Assign Reviewer
The Assign Reviewer option in the Actions drop-down allows you to assign or update a reviewer for the PO.
Assign Buyer
The Assign Buyer option in the Actions drop-down allows you to assign or update a buyer for the PO.
Assign Location
The Assign Location option in the Actions drop-down allows you to assign or update the location or door at which the PO delivery should be received in at. The location will update in the PO and in the item inspection records.
Assign Site
The Assign Site option in the Actions drop-down allows you to assign or update the supplier site on PO.
Assign Carrier
The Assign Carrier option in the Actions drop-down allows you to assign or update the carrier on the PO.
Assign Trailer
The Assign Trailer option in the Actions drop-down allows you to assign or update the trailer number of the delivery on the PO.
Assign Status
The Assign Status option in the Actions drop-down allows you to assign or update the overall status of the PO.
Assign Result
The Assign Result option in the Actions drop-down allows you to assign or update the overall result of the PO.
Receive Delivery
The Receive Delivery option allows you to add/update details on the PO when the delivery arrives in.
1. Trailer number for the delivery will populate here. Update the details if required.
2. The date and time the trailer has been received in can be completed here.
3. The date and time the trailer has been released out in can be completed here.
4. The date the delivery was scheduled for populates here. Update the details if required.
5. The date the delivery actually arrived in is displayed here. Updated the details if required.
6. The name of the person who received the delivery in can be selected here.
7. The location the delivery was assigned to populates here. If no location has been given the field can be updated.
8. Leave the box ticked to indicate the delivery has been received in and is occupying the location. Unmark the box if the delivery is not occupying the location.
9. Any comments on the delivery can be added here and will populate into the PO report field.
Close Out Delivery
The Close Out Delivery option allows you to add/update details on the PO when the delivery is being released.
1. Trailer number for the delivery will populate here. Update the details if required.
2. The date and time the trailer has been received in can be completed here.
3. The date and time the trailer has been released out in can be completed here.
4. The date the delivery was scheduled for populates here. Update the details if required.
5. The date the delivery actually arrived in is displayed here. Updated the details if required.
6. The name of the person who received the delivery in can be selected here.
7. The name of the person closing out the delivery can be selected here.
8. The location the delivery was assigned to populates here. If no location has been given the field can be updated.
9. Leave the box ticked to indicate the delivery is being released from the location. Unmark the box if the delivery is still occupying the location.
10. Any comments on the delivery can be added here and will populate into the PO report field.
Dashlets
1. PO's Statistics Today
The dashlet displays stats on the days Purchase Orders (PO's).
1. The number PO's due for delivery today (PO has a scheduled delivery date of today).
2. The number of PO's awaiting to arrive in.
3. The number of PO's that have been accepted in.
4. The number of PO's that have been rejected.
2. PO Status Today
The dashlet displays the status of PO's for today.
1. The number of PO's which are open and awaiting to be completed.
2. The number of PO's completed today.
3. PO Progress Today
1. A percentage of PO completion for the day is displayed here.
