Business Process & Management Review Modules: FAQs

Q: An employee has been assigned actions in a business process record, but the employee didn't receive an email notification, why?

Check that the employees email address is added in their employee page in MasterData. In the business process module when an employee is assigned an action, it is an automatic notification which is built into the business process record which fires.

Q: I have assigned a responsible person to a task in a business process record but they can't edit it, why?

When a user says they cannot work on a business process record even though their employee name is selected within the process, check to see if the user is connected with their employee name by:

1. Navigating to the Users Section under Settings.

2. In the tab called Users search for the user's name and see if their employee name is under the column Contact Association.

3. If they are not associated, click into the user's name, complete the Contact Association, and save.

The role assigned to the employee can also be reviewed to ensure they have not been assigned read only access to the business process record as this would prevent them working on the record. To review the role, navigate to the Users section under Settings and click into the role the user has been assigned to review it. Click here for more information on working with roles.

Q: Why can't I see review records opened in the Actions tab of the specific module I scheduled them in e.g. Training Reviews or Food Safety Plan Reviews?

Review records open (automatically, if the scheduler is enabled) in the Management Review Module Actions tab, and not in their respective modules. However, the review records will be visible from the programme they were scheduled from e.g. training programme, food safety plan, etc.

Q: What checklists can be changed in the Management Review Module Records?

For Management Review and PRP Review records, the system will allow you to add a customised checklist into the Management Review and PRP Review programmes. Checklists are built in MasterData > Categories first and then selected within the Management or PRP Review Programme. Click here for more information on building checklists.

For the rest of the review records listed below, the default checklists can be replaced by Technical Support. Your checklist should be created in MasterData > Categories and then a ticket sent to Technical Support to request them to embed the checklist in the specific review record.
