Add a Material Category
To add a Material Category while in the Categories Module click Add Specific Category > Material Category. Material Categories can be selected when adding a material in Master Data.
Examples of material categories include secondary packaging, meat, dairy etc.
Details
- Name: Enter the name of the material category e.g. raw meat, secondary packaging etc.
- Folder: Choose a folder to add the category into to keep your data organised.
- Associated Full Assessment Template: If you have a full assessment template created you can associate it here. This is not mandatory and the line can simply be deleted. This can be updated at a later stage when you have a template created.
- Associated Specification Template: Leave this field blank - Currently in development.
- Description: Add a description to help other users better understand if applicable.
