Business Group & Business Unit Main Dashboards

The dashboard is the main landing page for the user and will be the first thing they see when logging in to the Safefood360° software. Enterprise customer users will have a main dashboard for Business Group (BG) and for Business Unit (BU) sites. Business Group and Business Unit main dashboards provide out-of-the- box real-time oversight of risk and compliance across your business operations. These dashboards contain several smaller ‘Dashlets’ which focus on an aspect of the group or unit.  Hovering over the heading of each dashlet you will see a Tool Tip that describes the purpose of the dashlet.

These dashboards will present three main elements.

1. Information and Support: The first element at the top of the dashboard allows quick access to contact customer support, the User Guide, and Resources.

2. Status: The second element the user will notice are the two summary rating dashlets covering BG/BU Compliance and BG/BU Risk. These present a summary of all the current data in the BG and BU sites to let the users know whether relevant BUs (if viewing from the BG site) and local Sites (if viewing from the BU site) are doing what they are supposed to do and secondly if there are any open issues in the system which may be increasing risk.

3. Key Data and Trends: Finally, you will see Dashlets which present to you the most important activity data which typically you need to know and action day to day. For example, you will see in a clear and informative way data on the number of actions that are open and/or overdue.

4. Other Dashlets: You will also find some useful Dashlets on food safety updates and announcements from SF360 on product updates.

This allows you to manage processes and systems centrally. If you are in a Business Unit site you will be able to see the specific site data by selecting 'Current Site' from the selector. You may also view the overall Business Unit data by selecting 'Group Dashboard'.

2. Customer Support / How do I?/ User Guide

There are three dashlets located at the top of the main dashboard:

3. The User Guide dashlet allows you to quickly access the online user guide for a step by step instructions on all modules in Safefood360°.

3. Group Actions / Unit Actions

The Actions dashlet displays the top 12 business units/sites/modules with due and overdue actions in descending order. Clicking on the buttons will bring you to the Unit/Site/Module, where you can further investigate where actions are being generated from.

4. Group Compliance / Unit Compliance

The Compliance dashlet displays the current compliance rating of business group/units/sites/modules as a percentage. Compliance is a measure of all the activities which should be currently completed. For example, if there are 100 actions due for completion and only 50 are completed, then you will be operating at a 50% compliance rating.

The overall site compliance percentage is determined more specifically by the total number of overdue records without programmes e.g. corrective action record, plus the total number of overdue programmes e.g. Auditing.

If a group/unit/site/module is below 33% compliance the current compliance rating bar will appear red. Between 33% and 66% the bar will appear orange and above 66% the bar will appear green.

The Source graph displays the units/sites/modules which are compliant. Hovering over the bar will display a tool tip showing out of 100% how compliant the module is. If a unit/site/module is not compliant no bar will appear against the unit/site/module.

5. Group Risk / Unit Risk

The Risk dashlet displays the current risk rating of the business units /sites/modules as a percentage. Risk is a measure of all the activities which have been risk assessed as being significant in the business units/sites/ modules and which should be currently completed. For example, if there are 100 significant risk actions due for completion and only 50 have been completed, then the site will be operating at a 50% risk rating.

The Current Risk Status bar will appear green when the risk is low, orange when the risk is medium and red when the risk is high.

The Source graph displays the business units/sites/modules which are adding to the risk status. Hovering over the bar will display a tool tip showing the Risk percentage. Clicking on the relevant source bar will take you to the source.

6. Group Actions Overdue / Unit Actions Overdue

The dashlet displays analysis of all actions which have become overdue.

1. The dashlet displays the number of overdue actions and which of these actions carry a significant risk.

2. The dashlet will display the source of the overdue actions by business unit in the Business Group site and by site in the Business Unit site. You can click on the source bar to directly take you to the source.

2. Special emphasis is given to alerts with a significant risk. You can see how many of the alerts fired carry a significant risk.

3. Two graphs display the hour at which the alerts were fired and the quantity fired. The graph to the left shows significant risk alerts. Hovering over the bar shows you how many alerts were fired at the specific hour.

4. The most recently posted alerts are also indicated for easy linking to the relevant record. You can click on the alert to access the source. Alerts that carry a significant risk are highlighted in orange.

9. Corrective Actions

The Corrective Actions (CA's) dashlet displays analysis on the total number of corrective actions active in the system, including total volume, source and age of overdue action.

1.  It starts with the total number of CAs that are open for the group unit/site. From this, it uses the overdue criteria to show how many of those CAs are overdue, and then of those overdue, how many are a significant risk.

2. The graph to the right is a grouping of when the majority of the open CAs were generated by week.

3. The site section of the CAs dashlet shows where the CA originated from (site/unit/module). You can click on the site bar to access the source.

4. The bottom of the dashlet displays the Days Overdue. Displayed in orange are the number of corrective actions overdue by 15+ days, displayed in blue are the number of corrective actions overdue between 8-14 days and displayed in grey are the number of corrective actions overdue by 1-7 days.
