Add Open Data - Drop-Down List

Presentation title - PowerPoint

Tests are building blocks to monitoring/receiving programmes. When building programmes you may need to add some open data fields which are not subject to testing.

The Drop-Down test is useful for choosing from a set list of options e.g. list of countries, shift names, production line numbers, etc.

To add a drop-down list test, navigate to the Test module in MasterData, click Add Open Data > Drop-Down List.

1. Details

Enter Open Data Details
  1. Enter the name of the drop-down list.
  2. You can group tests into folders to help you retrieve and find your tests easier later on when you are building programmes.
  3. Provide a brief description of what you hope to accomplish with the open data.
  4. If a procedure is required you can select the document here.
  5. Use the add line button to build out your list for the drop-down.
  6. If required, use the arrows to organise the list in order. Use the x to remove an item from the list.

Note: When an open data drop-down test is being used inside a monitoring record, there will be automatically an additional drop-down value in the list called 'None'. When the test is selected inside a monitoring programme, if the test is made mandatory, the 'None' value will not show up in the drop-down list in the monitoring record.
