Supply Chain Map

Located in the Supply Chain Management Module is a tab called Supply Chain Map which will populate your supplier and material relationships.

The map will show by default at the top, first your manufacturers and the materials they manufacture, followed by your supplier relationships (agent, brokers, corporate entity, etc.) to manufacturers and the materials they manufacture.

Supply Chain Map Columns & Functions

1. Supplier: The name of the supplier entity appears in this column. Supplier would be considered as an agent, broker, corporate entity, etc., who supplies materials through manufacturers.

2. Manufacturer: The name of the manufacturer.

3. Material: The name of the material manufactured.

4. Supplied By: The name of all the suppliers who supply the material (i.e. don't manufacturer the material).

5. Customer: The name of the customer(s), which the supplier in the Supplied By column, is approved for. (At the bottom of the supplier page in MasterData there is a section for associating which customers the supplier is approved for.)

6. Arrows: Use the arrows to move through pages.

7. Search Bar: Use the search bar to find a word. The word will then be highlighted blue if found.

8. Export: Click the Export symbol to export the map to excel, pdf, word, etc.

9. Refresh: Click the refresh symbol to refresh the map.

10. Update: After using a filter click the 'Update' button so the filter applies to the map.

Filters

1. Supplier

Use this filter to filter by a specific supplier (agent, broker, corporate entity, etc.) to see the manufacturer's they are connected to and materials.

2. Manufacturer

Use this filter to filter by a specific manufacturer to see the materials they are connected with and any suppliers.

3. Material

Use this filter to see the suppliers and manufacturers connected to a specific material.

4. Supplied By

Use the Supplied By filter to filter by a specific supplier to see the materials they supply to you but also see the other suppliers and manufacturers that are connected to the same materials supplied by the supplier you filtered by.

5. Material Folder

Materials in MasterData are generally organised into a folder structure by material category. This filter allows you to filter by a specific material folder and see the materials and the supplier/manufacturer relationships just for the materials in that folder.

6. View

The view filter allows you to filter by Material Supply Chain Only or Direct Relationship Only.

Material Supply Chain Only: This view allows you to see all materials and just their manufacturer's (no suppliers (agent, broker, etc.)). These are all materials that have been linked to suppliers (agents, brokers, corporate site, etc.) and manufacturers who directly manufacture the materials. The Supplier column doesn't populate.

Direct Relationship Only: This view allows you to see all materials and their manufacturer's and the suppliers (agent, broker, etc.) connected to the manufacturers. The Supplied By column doesn't populate.
