Add Open Data - Text Field
Tests are building blocks to monitoring/receiving programmes. When building monitoring/receiving programmes you may need to add some open data fields which are not subject to testing.
An open data text field is one type of the many open data tests. You might create an open data text field when you need to record the traceability number of a sample point, or some other non-test data like an order number, comments, or even just the weather.
To add a text field, navigate to the Test module in MasterData, click Add Open Data > Text Field.
1. Enter Open Data Details
- Enter the name of the open data.
- You can group tests into folders to help you retrieve and find your tests easier later on when you are building your Monitoring and Receiving programmes.
- Provide a brief description of what you hope to accomplish with the open data.
- If a procedure is required you can select the document here.
