Adding a Material

1. Click the dropdown arrow to access the Materials MasterData dropdown.

2. Use the folders or search bar to locate your Material.

Note: There are two different ways to select the Material within the Food Safety Plan. You can either select the Material directly or select the Suppliers linked to the Material. The option you select will decide what Risk is carried over for the Material.

Option 1: Material Directly = Internal Risk

Option 2: Supplier Linked to Material = Risk from latest Material Full Assessment from said Supplier

Option 1: Material Directly = Internal Risk

1. Select the Material Name, which has become a folder, to select the Material from MasterData.

2. Click 'Select' to place the Material in the Ingredient/Material list.

1. The Risk from the Material's MasterData page will be carried over. This Risk will be updated automatically if the Material Risk is updated via the Material's MasterData page. If the Risk has not yet been completed within the Material MasterData page, the Risk will remain blank.

2. Click on the Material Name to open the Material MasterData page where the Risk has been carried over from. See the screenshots below to see exactly where this Risk is located.

Risk from Material's MasterData Page

1. Use the 'Actions>Edit' button to enter the Ingredient/Material Details.

1. Once within the Ingredient/Materials Details, scroll down to the 'Risk'. This Internal Risk is where the Risk for the Material in the Food Safety Plan will carry over from. This Risk can be updated from the Ingredient/Material Details page if needed.

Option 2: Supplier Linked to Material = Risk from latest Material Full Assessment from said Supplier

1. Select the Supplier Name, which is located within the Material folder, to select the Supplier linked to this Material.

2. Click 'Select' to place the Supplier in the Ingredient/Material list. The Material Name will be placed beside the Supplier Name.

1. The Risk from the latest Material Full Assessment completed for this Material by this Supplier will be carried over. This Risk will be updated automatically when the next Material Full Assessment for this Material is completed by this Supplier. If a Material Full Assessment has not yet been completed for this Material by the Supplier, the Risk will remain blank.

2. Click on the Supplier Name to open the latest Material Full Assessment the Risk has been carried over from. See the screenshots below to see exactly where this Risk is located.

Risk from Material Full Assessment

Note: The Risk from the Material Full Assessment will be carried over from the 'Risk Assessment - Absence of Control' unless the 'Risk Assessment - Presence of Control' is enabled and completed in the Full Assessment workflow, as the presence of control risk outcome will override the absence of control risk outcome.
