Add a Recall / Withdrawal Programme

1. Enter Programme Details

Enter Program Details
  1. Enter a name for your Recall/Withdrawal programme.
  2. Select the person with responsibility for this programme.
  3. Select the Type of Recall/Withdrawal programme. You can choose either a Mock Recall / Withdrawal or an Actual Recall / Withdrawal.
  4. Conduct a brief Risk Assessment with justification for doing so (the risk model will populate in the recall/withdrawal record to allow you to conduct the risk assessment again based on the reason for the recall/withdrawal).
  5. You can select the Product(s) which are the subject of the Recall or Withdrawal exercise (You can leave this blank and select the product in the record).
  6. Define team members and contact details for the product recall team and delegate functions. This will help you contact and organize the right people in the event of a recall happening.
  7. Associate any relevant procedures/documents to the programme.

In the case of product recall programmes, it can make sense to schedule a simulation/mock recall to happen on a regular basis. See the article on programme scheduling for more information.

3. Define Checklists

  1. Select the checklist that will be presented at the Reason/Incident stage of the workflow.
  2. Select the checklist that will be presented at the Recall/Withdrawal Tasks stage of the workflow.
  3. Select the checklist that will be presented at the Close Out stage of the workflow.
