Section 4: Add Process Steps
The next step in a comprehensive food safety plan is to break the production process down into steps. After the completion of this exercise, you will be able to conduct the hazard analysis associated with each process step, as these steps are brought down automatically to the Hazard Analysis section of the Food Safety Plan.
1. Add Process Steps
- Enter the name of the process step.
- Enter a description of the process step. This field is required to click save.
- You can move process steps up and down if required.
Add as many process steps as is required by clicking 'Add Line'. Click "Save" to move to the next stage in the food safety planning workflow.
At some point, you may need to update your food safety plan to add a new step. If you add a new step here, it will automatically be brought down to the Hazard Analysis section.
