2. Customer Document Settings

  1. You can associate a folder in the Documents module with the customer you are adding. This will be the folder for all the customer's documentation. Click into the field and select the folder. If you do not have a folder created you can click 'Add New' and a new tab on your browser will open for you to create a folder. Once the folder is created you can close the tab and select the folder here.

3. Relationships

In this section, you can define the approved suppliers and materials associated with the customer you are adding. If you leave this section blank, as you add suppliers and materials in Master Data, if you associate a customer in the relationship section, this will automatically update here (customer) in Master Data and vice versa.

Adding these relationships will allow for not only backward supply chain mapping but also forward supply chain mapping in the supply chain map dashboard in the Supplier Chain Management Module.

1. Click 'Add Line' to select the suppliers to be associated with the customer. Click into the Supplier Name field to select the supplier. The Supplier No., Supplier Category, Type, Risk, and Status will automatically populate after selecting the supplier (If these fields have not been completed for the supplier in MasterData they will appear blank).

2. Click 'Add Line' to select the materials to be associated with the customer. Click into the Material Name field to select the material. The Material No., Supplier Material Code, Our Code, Material Category, Risk, and Status will automatically populate after selecting the material (If these fields have not been completed for the supplier in MasterData they will appear blank).

3. Click Save to save the customer. You can always edit the customer by navigating to the customer tab in the Contacts Module, selecting the customer, and clicking Actions > Edit.
